Making the most out of your veggies

Tired of steamed Cauliflower and Baked Potatoes? Be daring, get creative and say bye-bye to plain and boring veggie dishes!

Squash, Zucchini, and Sweet Potato Fries

1. Skip the sweet and go savory

Step up your traditional oatmeal by adding steamed squash, sautéed cauliflower, or stir-fried greens topped with an egg and sprinkled with seeds. Sunflower are my favorite!

*Try gluten free thick cut oats topped with sautéed zucchini and fresh avocado drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt.

2. Swap your wraps or bread for greens

Get even more veggies in by setting that tortilla aside and using nice and sturdy leaves of Lacinato kale, Collards, or Cabbage to fill with your favorite stuffings.

*Try some delicious Thai style cabbage wraps stuffed with chicken, mango, cilantro and unsweetened coconut flakes. Drizzle with liquid coconut aminos!

3. Trade in the cheese sauce for sweet potatoes

Combine steamed and peeled sweet potatoes with coconut milk, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, and sea salt.

*Try this yummy sauce over steamed zucchini spirals, on tacos, or as a dip for Cassava and Plantain chips!

4) Try cauliflower instead of a traditional pizza crust!

Use cauliflower as the base in this easy to make grain-free crust. Not fond of coconut flour? Use cassava flour instead!
